This is a bit of an experiment. I had an idea a few days ago (after having watched people like Sal shoutcasting TF2 matches) about the possibility of doing something similar for maps - showcasing custom maps either in development or that had been released, and maybe providing some commentary on how they work. As there was a TF2Maps.net gameday on the Thursday that I was in on, I thought it would be a good time to give it a go. After mercilessly editing my voice until I sounded presentable (you have no idea how much you "err" until you have to listen to 20 minutes of it), purchasing Fraps and recording some footage from the map demos, this is the result. It was a lot more effort than I thought - it took up my whole day, and once I'm not on Christmas holidays I fear it might require a little too much of my time - but it came out looking rather nice.
