Hello my fellow TF2 Players and TF2 Freak Fortress 2 players and welcome to a fun little "April Fools" video.
Todays videos showcases a fun little April Fools event that occured on my friend Kolaxie's Boss VS Boss server. The event was split into two parts where the first part was full on stupidly op bosses while the second part that I recorded was the return of old bosses while also only playing on the supermarket map. This event was alot of fun to record and I beleive it needs no editing as the video speaks for itself. Thanks for watching and happy April Fools eveyone :)

As we all know, the Smismass 2023 update released yesterday and with it comes new cosmetics, taunts, maps and more. For todays videos Im focusing more on the new taunts that were added.
So, whenever new taunts get added to TF2, my favorite thing to do is to go into my Freak Fortress 2 server and use the taunts on the many different boss models I have on my server. The taunts just look so silly on some of the custom models and specific bosses. You may also notice that Ive edited the look of my VSH Map Mannopolis once more and that this video is definitely NOT acting as a sneak peak of possible future videos involving my map or anything ;) Anyways, Mery Christmas/Smissmass 2023 and a Happy New Year!")

Hello friends, freaks, and TF2 veterans alike and welcome to this LONG Freak Fortress 2 Video.
For the past week, I have been utilizing BatFoxKids Unofficial Freak Fortress code to create and experiment around with a custom Freak Fortress 2 game mode/server. This custom gamemode is going under the name of The Freaks Of Man City, and this is my attempt at creating a custom FF2/TF2 community game mode with some form of lore or story to it. An important thing to note is how this custom gamemode also acts as a draft to a far bigger idea that I have. This idea is getting a team of programmers, animators, musicians, and/or composers, (cough cough such as myself) etc., and creating an entire spinoff game or mode aiming at combining vanilla Team Fortress 2 and Freak Fortress 2 in a way. (You can kind of see this with the Boss Vs Boss rounds) In other words, I want to try and take this Freak Fortress 2 project/code and transform into something that is FAR bigger than just an unofficial community game mode.
The improvised lore of this custom FF2 game mode goes like this:
Hello and welcome to Mann City, a fairly large and open city located in the South Eastern part of the badlands region in the American Southwest. Man City is about a 20-50 mile distance away from the town on Tuefort while also having a direct path that leads to the MANN CO. headquarters. As the name suggests, Man City is funded by the Mann Co. company and also acts the product capital of Mann Co. as the city holds numerous stores, malls, and shopping centers located in its different districts and areas. These shops sell the majority of the new hats, weapons, products, and instructions for the many gestures and dance moves (A.K.A TF2 taunts) manufactured my Mann Co. Along with the manliness that comes with the name, Man City is also known for its occasional chaos, noise, and super natural events that take place. This is mostly due to the many TF2 Freaks that inhabit the city along with the chaotic nature of some of its civilians and TF2 mercenaries.
As we can see, this improvised lore utilizes aspects of both the main Team Fortress 2 storyline as well as the TF2 Freak World
Maps:
The Freaks Of Mann City utilizes city themed maps that act as the different districts or areas of Man City.
These maps include:
i.) vsh_mann_city_v2: The main part of the Mann City, and what the game mode is named after.
ii.) vsh_chinatown_b2: The Chinatown district of Man City.
iii.) vsh_urban_works_hdr: The more Urban parts of Man City.
iv.) vsh_streets_v2: The area that divides the different sections and districts of Man City while also providing the paths that head towards the town of TueFort and the Mann Co. Headquarters
v.) vsh_bvb_manncohq_fixed: The headquarters of Manco, the map/area located near the town of TueFort and about a 20-30 mile distance from Man City itself.
At the moment, these are the maps that I fell fit in with the lore of this game mode
Teams:
The normal TF2 mercenaries/players act as the civilians of Mann City and they can walk around the city and be on either Red or Blu team. Along with this, both the Red and Blu teams have their own specific roles.
Red Team = Delinquents:
The RED team acts as the Bad Boys, criminals or delinquents of Mann City. These guys aim at causing mischief and chaos around the city by committing various crimes, attempting to steal hats and weapons from the different stores and shopping centers, harassing the citizens or the police force, and just causing trouble in general.
The TF2 Freaks that can appear on this Red, they are the ones that I fell are villains or evil or chaotic freaks such as Gentle Spy, and Bomber Z. Or different kind of delinquent freaks such as Gangplank, and two of the Mafia Crew.
Blue Team = Defense Force:
The Blue team acts as the defense or police force of Man City and their goal is to maintain the peace and order of Man City to insure the safety of the citizens.
The freaks that can appear on this team team are the freaks that I fell are heroes such as Bonk Girl good Samaritans such as Muselk, as well as the two Samurai Hales, or more vigilante freaks such as Demopan and ChoZo.
The only exception to this rule is the more neutral freaks such as Panis Cupcake and the Vagineer species. These freaks dont necessary work with any group or team and just go around doing their own thing. These freaks can appear on both red or blue team.
Boss VS Boss/All Out Brawl
There is also a chance of a Boss Vs Boss/All Out Brawl round occurring. During these rounds, both teams are evened out to 16 players (8 freaks and 8 mercenaries) in a Team Death Match like setting.

Hello friends, freaks, and TF2 veterans alike and welcome to another Freak Fortress 2 Music Video. This video showcases the (current) full custom soundtrack for my existing Bonk Girl Freak Fortress 2 Boss. Entitled Rapid Crusader, (or a fast and lively Superhero) Bonk Girls custom soundtrack consist of two arrangements/instrumental covers of Ray Of Light from Madonna and two full arrangements of Interlude by Attack Attack. Bonk Girls themes consist of:
* Theme number 1: Illuminating Valor
- Bonk Girls first theme is an arrangement/instrumental cover of Ray Of Light from Madonna. This theme was made by utilizing two specific karaoke versions of Ray Of Light that I mixed together in Audacity along with various MIDI instruments from the Xpand2 plugin located inside the Digital Audio Workstation known as Pro Tools. Illuminating Valor acts as the main theme for Bonk Girl and aims at having a nice super hero like feel to it. The MIDI instruments from heard in this theme are Electric Guitars and a few percussion instruments. (congas, bongos, and marimba)
* Theme number 2: Illuminating Valor [Remix]
- The remixed version of Illuminating Valor includes more Electric Guitar voices and (56 Strat + and Dynamic Electric Guitar and Clear Electric Guitar voices) as well as some slight alterations to the melody of Ray Of Light. The main goal for the remixed version of Ray Of Light is to have a more Video Game sound to it while still maintaining the Super Hero feel it already has. The added electric guitars, along with the percussion instruments, are there to try and give the theme a slight Team Fortress 2 feel to it.
* Theme number 3: Interlude from Attack Attack (Version 1)
- Bonk Girls third theme is a full arrangement of Interlude by Attack Attack. The version 1 of the arrangement is a MuseScore3 playback MP3 file with added reverb and EQ. Utilizing specific voices for the instruments used in this version, I found that I liked the sound I was getting from MuseScore3 and decided to make it a full theme. The main goal for the third theme is to maintain that Super Hero feel the entire soundtrack is going for while attempting to have a stronger Team Fortress 2 style or feel to the music. This is done through the use of lower rock guitar voices, percussion instruments such as bongos and congas, as well a jazz guitar voices.
*Theme number 4: Interlude from Attack Attack (Version 2)
- The second or full version of my arrangement to Interlude is different from all of Bonk Girls previous themes in how it was done ENTIERLY in Pro Tools. The main purpose for this theme (besides being the full version of the first version of Interlude is aiming to push out a more Team Fortress 2 feel or style to the music with further use of rock guitar voices, electric guitar voices, percussion instruments, horns, and a few synthesizers, and all while keeping the original vibe of Interlude and of course, maintaining a Super Hero and Video Game feel to it. Another key difference between the Version 2 of my arrangement of Interlude versus version 1 has further arranging and specific instrumentation to try and give it its own sound. (In other words, this can be considered its own theme that is independent from the original version of Interlude.)

In todays video I managed to get a good playtest session of VScript Mannopolis on Aar server. Aar was testing out summer maps on his server and my map happened to be one of the ones that was play tested. Also, following the last video, the map has received another minor update. Many gate props have been added to the out of bounds areas of the map. (Thank to Aar for the feedback) and the current map music can now be controlled by the music slider. Stay tuned as I will share any additional updates I do to my map as I will now work on getting the final final version of Mannopolis finished.")

Now here is a fun short little Freak Fortress 2 video that I recorded today. This video showcases me passing 100 total hale wins on SG Gaming. (And with my own FF2 boss for extra bonus points.) Now whats funny is that I was actually trying to record my 100th hale win on the server but I accidentally had already gotten my 100th win. So, recording my 101 total wins had to do :)
Oh and you have been watching my channel, you may know that this map vsh_streets used to be the map that I would do all of my FF2 boss testing videos on my test/demo ff2 server before it became a full server. This round kind of felt nostalgic to me. Like I was doing a live test of SG Bonk Girl. SO, I was just checking to make sure my Freak Fortress 2 server was still working correctly following the Smismass update when I see the new festive beach ball prop stuck between two of the trigger push brushes on my map almost making it look like the trigger push brushes were playing volleyball with the prop. This was a silly short moment that I just had to share. Also (hint hint music and ai for now lyrics heard in video hint hint wink wink ;)")

This video is acting as an extension to my previous video.
So after adding in some air traffic to my map, I decided to do a quick little music and ambiance testing on my map. To do this, I placed a camera in front of the Mannopolis Defenders (Bonk Boy, Bonk Girl, and the Ninjineer) that has a nice zoomed out look of the north side of my map. The cool thing about this shot is how you can see the Hover Cars and Helicopter props flying around the map.")
