I apologize for the video being so long. I wanted to try a lineless art style, which takes a lot longer to make a fully done piece with than with something that has lineart. I'll still be using both methods, but yeah. Wanted to branch out a bit more.
I had an earlier sketch of this set up a couple weeks ago but I didn't like it, so I ended up redoing it and honestly I'm glad I did. It came out much better here in my opinion.
You know the Scream Fortress 2014 event that introduced a costume for Medic called Canis Ex Machina? Well I really wanted to draw it, in a way that depicts him as a werewolf/weredog (whichever one he is is quite open to interpretation). It's a pretty popular idea and I can see why - it's really fucking awesome! I just wish the hundkopf didn't cost like 200 bucks, I am not paying that much for a cosmetic. Otherwise I would love to have the whole outfit, but hey, the chance to get a previous Scream Fortress cosmetic is coming up soon so I could take my chances with it there.
SO here we are, lineless attempt #2! It's BLU Medic again (I tried lineless the first time before but didn't speedpaint it), though this time he's a bit more... wild, one could say. Holy hell my hand and back hurt, but it was worth it. I'm very happy with the result!
