The Sacred Armour of Antiriad Palace Software 1986
A standout arcade-adventure that still holds up as one of the better platformers of its era.You play as Tal, a warrior in a post-nuclear wasteland, searching for a legendary anti-radiation battle suit, the “Antiriad” and its upgrades—anti-grav boots, weapons, and an implosion mine—to take on alien invaders. The game came with a stylish 16-page comic that sets the scene perfectly.What really shines are the large, detailed, smoothly animated sprites and colourful backgrounds that push the Spectrum hard while keeping attribute clash surprisingly minimal.
