Plotting Ocean 1990
If you’re after a proper head-scratcher that still feels like pure arcade joy on your humble Speccy, Plotting is a perfect puzzler. Converted from Taito’s 1989 coin-op you play as a little potato-headed chap tasked clearing a big wall of coloured, patterned blocks. You’re holding one block and your job is to chuck it at a matching block in the pile. Hit the right one and the whole matching group vanishes. Mess up and leave yourself with no moves and you get a “wild card” a block that can clear anything. It’s simple to learn, brutally tough to master, and ridiculously moreish in short bursts.
