heeeeey friends!
i'm back, thanks for waiting around and all the kind words c: i never really realize how much you all care and always have my back, i really appreciate it ♥
SO. if you haven't watched yet (will talk about spoilers for the video) - it won't be in order
HOLY, MOLY.
I LOOOOOOOVE that they brought world quest characters AND VOICED THEM. I love Jeht, seeing the aranara (even though they were.. kinda useless) was also very cool - it's definitely still the BLAST THEM WITH NOSTALGIA offensive though, so far? pretty effective on me..
I think it's no surprise that the doc was back, super cool character - i do think it's a shame that his first end was SO cool. like pulling the moon down and everything? maybe everything would have felt underwhelming in comparison, i think what he achieved with burning down irminsul is actually nuts BUT so far feels pretty consequenceless because of it existing forth in aaru now..
the only thing that can be very interesting is HP's thoughts on it/maybe a big relic between them and the archons being gone, not sure, feels like it should have massive consequences but we clearly didn't see them yet.
I liked nicole's story quest, I just think it should have been a seperate thing perhaps? the ending was great and a callback to how the quest starts ofc so it wasn't a misfit but.. since it was such a gigantic quest (yes, two parts) I think adding another ~2 hours to it was maybe not the right play? just personal preference though
I think it's so fun the rooster reached out to us, I REALLY HOPE he's modeled it's gonna be so funny, ALSO pants is actually just reverse baizhu, super looking forward to dealing with them more. still interested in seeing the next fatui relations because they're all so different, you never really know what to expect from anyone
ps: i hope the doc is still there somehow (cope) because he's such a cool villain. whoever comes next has to be a REAAAAAAL meanie if we wanna ever consider them on dottore level right? sibling is an odd dynamic ofc and HP is.. well the same
here's some extra notes I made that make no sense:
the tsaritsa is bronya, this story about an inverted statue? are they referencing that first dain quest? HP wakes up soon because of irminsul + the gnosis being gone, also celestia is getting POINT BLANK levels of close, surely the next step is a dain quest and our sibling rebuilds khaen'riah for real, new antagonist: rhinedottir or smth (we NEED someone big), nahida's ability doing nothing SUCKED, and how did dottore originally get his hands on the goddess of flowers remains to experiment on collei? (i'll be reading that web comic soon for sure)
