This week, we're celebrating Mother's Day in the most delicious way possible! This delightful lineup of buttercream textured croissant stuffed mini cakes is inspired by the irresistible flavors of croissants from one of my favorite local bakeriesππΈ
This episode is all about flavor and texture - from classic butter and jam, to rich chocolate indulgence, nutty pistachio, decadent tiramisu and irresistible almond and pecan flavors, each mini cake draws flavor inspiration from the different croissants in its own unique way.
I'm also layering up these cakes by incorporating the actual croissants INTO the cakes themselves, for a guaranteed explosion of flavor and texture into every bite.
I'm giving my fondant a day of rest too (it IS Mother's day after all) and showcasing simple buttercream texture techniques on each cake that you can easily make yourself at home!
