The International Quilt Museum turns 25 this year and to celebrate, the museum is presenting an exhibition series to honor its founding collection: “An Evolving Vision: The James Collection, 1997 - 2022.” In this Textile Talk, IQM Curator of Collections Carolyn Ducey, accompanied by colleague Marin Hanson, will reflect on the importance of the diverse 1000-piece James Collection and present some of its gems, including the renowned “Reconciliation Quilt,” made at the end of the Civil War by Lucinda Ward Honstain in Brooklyn, New York.
