I completed Tetrachroma's "Marathon Mode" and accidentally recorded it with the Steam Deck's background recording feature.
Tetrachroma is a Tetris game for turbo nerds. The colours of the blocks you place change the colours of the blocks already in the playing field. For a line to disappear, all the colours in that line need to match. This mechanic renders everything you know about Tetris useless. That is a good thing.
This video is definitely not a display of expert gameplay. I just got a bit lucky with my draws in the randomiser bag and I stuck out until the and. I also didn't shy away from using the undo feature, but the game is hard enough as-is I think, so I didn't mind too much. One thing I've read online is that you should keep your stack as level as possible (so don't go building crazy towers). I tried to keep to this advice but as you'll see, it didn't always work out.
If you see me pausing for a while, that's because my hands cramped. Despite what you read online, the Steam Deck is not insusceptible to this :-).
Also, the interface for managing and clipping video is absolutely TERRIBLE on SteamOS. I had to ffmpeg my way through video chunks stored in some random folder. Valve could learn a thing or two from Nintendo.
