We have begun trialing autonomous take-off & landings at sea for the unmanned aerial system #VSR700 being developed for the French Navy.
During the test campaign, the OPV (optionally piloted vehicle) managed more than 150 successful autonomous landings, paving the way for the next steps!
Initial testing was carried out with a pilot to enable safer and more agile testing before integrating the systems into the fully autonomous VSR700.
