Thanks to Bambu Lab for supporting the channel! Bambu Lab H2D printer: tidd.ly/4aAI89S. →I start by modeling several different styles of turbine in fusion 360, and then print them out. I install each into the hydroelectric system and test their power output. It turns out, 2 of them will not allow the draft tube to fill, which is a new problem. I determine that I need a flow diverter, which seemed like it would be a big challenge at first. But with some careful measuring and modeling, I'm able to print the perfect diverter on my 3D printer. After installing that, I'm able to test those remaining turbines, and discover that one of them breaks my power record thus far at 420 watts. This system can definitely do better than that though, and I'm going to need to finish the draft tube before doing any more testing. More content!
