Mark builds a mint tin emergency radio using an Arduino Nano, a TEA5767 FM receiver module, a custom PCB, and a coin cell–powered microcontroller-controlled supply. The challenge was designing a compact circuit that fits into a metal mint tin while avoiding shorts, using the housing itself as an antenna, and creating a power latch system for reliable operation. The radio is programmed to lock onto a single predefined station for emergency use, with careful soldering and component placement to make the design practical and portable: bit.ly/3VQzlIi
