The keris partisan is a one-handed melee weapon requiring 65 Attack[1] to equip. It is obtained from Maisa as a reward for completing the quest Beneath Cursed Sands. If lost, it can be reclaimed from Selim for 60,000 coins.

The keris partisan retains the effects of the keris, dealing 33% bonus damage against all Kalphites and Scabarites, alongside a 1/51 chance of puncturing a hole in their exoskeleton, dealing triple damage. When this special effect occurs, the chatbox will display the message: You slip your weapon through a chink in the creature's chitin, landing a vicious blow. Unlike the keris, however, the partisan sports a well-rounded combat style selection, offering nearly identical bonuses for all styles; partisans are distinct from hastae in this way, with the latter favouring the stab style.

The keris partisan cannot be poisoned with any form of weapon poison, unlike the standard keris.

Upgrading the keris partisan
When the Tombs of Amascut is released, players will be able to attach three different jewels, obtained as rewards from the raid, to the keris partisan, giving it differing effects; this increases the requirement to wield them to 80 Attack.

Eye of the Corrupter - Adds a damage-over-time effect to attacked enemies. Players won't be able to stack this effect multiple times onto a single NPC, but will be able to apply it to multiple NPCs at once. Only usable within Tombs of Amascut.
Jewel of the Sun - Applies a debuff to attacked NPCs, which causes them to take higher damage for a sustained period of time. Only usable within Tombs of Amascut.
Breach of the Scarab - Adds a 33% accuracy bonus against Kalphites and Scabarites. Usable everywhere, not just in Tombs of Amascut.
