The nRF21540 DK contains our nRF52840 SoC together with our nRF21540 RF Front-End Module. This enables up to 12 dB gain on the TX side and 5 dB gain on the RX side compared with the nRF52840 DK.

In this video, we compare the range achieved on Bluetooth Low Energy 1 Mbps using two nRF52840 DKs and two nRF21540 DKs.
