This series offers the opportunity for learners of Arabic to assess their progress in their language studies. The first five episodes have been designed to test students at a beginner level (e.g. those who have completed ‘Gateway to Arabic Book Two’ or ‘The Key to Arabic Book Two’). Thereafter, the episodes will test students of an intermediate level and gradually build towards a more advanced level.
Students may also find these lessons useful for revision. Each episode presents a sentence in English and offers three possible Arabic equivalents, only one of which is correct. The lesson allows the student time to study the available options and select the right answer.
This is followed by a confirmation and explanation as to why this is the correct option. In this manner, students have the chance to review key vocabulary and points of Arabic grammar and to clear up any misconceptions they may have.
