Time index is below if you want to skip to the good stuff. I wanted to do some experimentation to try to get to the bottom of the ‘brittle PLA’ filament problem. It has been increasingly evident that moisture exposure alone had little far less effect on it’s mechanical properties than has been suggested. Hopefully these ‘real world’ practical tests will help get to the bottom of the issue.
