2 IN A DAY
This is definetly my favorite single yet. I'm using 2 separate instances of Vulf Compressor on this one. One set to mostly just compress, which I put on nearly all of my covers, and one for distortion. I think I got relatively close to Joe's tone. Not quite the same on the high mids, but we're getting there.
I've learned from my private instructor, Mike Pope, that feeling certain grooves in a half note pulse instead of a quarter note can really improve the groove. Glamour Profession is a great example. For the A sections of this song, I'm mostly feeling it in a half note. You can see me physically change to a quarter note subdivision in the B sections.
Joe fills a little bit more than I would have liked on this tune. There are two too many fills in the second A section IF YA ASK ME. I filled over one of them (1:30) that I didn't particularly like.
Awesome tune, very excited for the album when it releases in 18 months :\
