I've never done a build before but Samsung sent me their new Galaxy Tab S7+ and I couldn't help but think what that beautiful screen would look like as the center console of a car. If all goes well, we should have the ultimate road trip device...for my needs!

A few additional tidbits about this build:
Samsung makes a 5G model of the Tab but I already have a mobile hotspot so I am using that to get data to the Tab while on the road/in areas without WiFi. ALSO, I discovered a USB port in the storage armrest of the Jeep so I just put the hotspot in there plugged into the USB which is really nice and out of the way!
One reason I really wanted a magnetic mount instead of something more "fixed" is so I can quickly move the Tab to see the car's built-in backup camera when reversing.
My original concept was to have the Tab covering the entirety of the existing screen in the car, but that would have put the Tab's cameras too low which would have killed my dashcam dreams. Bonus: the Tab takes microSD cards so I threw a 1TB card in there and can record soooo much dash footage.
Second bonus: the existing screen in the car can be turned off (Bluetooth still functions) so it isn't distracting when the Tab is mounted over it.
