Featuring Kid Flash as their son. This is my very first time usisng him so I'm really happy about that.
I fell in love with this song after finding a rather depressing video with it and knew I had to make my own. The casting jumped around for a few days with it originally being Robin and Starfire, then Robin and Raven, and eventually landing on Beast Boy and Raven. Casting their 'son' was a little difficult because he needed to be Beast Boy's age and there's not many other dudes to use (it was almost Robin for a teeny tiny bit) and thanks to Hide And Seek I was able to make Raven in a mother and grow Timmy up to be Kid Flash so everything fit. For the sake of Raven being a mother, imagine that they meet around 18 and have kids a few years down the road; can't really age them visually so it's up to the ~imagination~
The story is pretty simple: Beast Boy was having trouble with love until he met Raven and it was love at first sight. They live happily ever after complete with three children (who live somewhere safer so they can fight evil without worry) until the day Raven finds out that she's deathly ill. She keeps it a secret for as long as she can until she's told that she only has weeks left, so she tells the other Titans (Cyborg's the one who told her). Everything goes along fine for a while until Raven collapses and and they rush her back home where she dies later that night. Years and years pass with Beast Boy raising their children alone, all three knowing their mother died but barely remembering her because they were so young. Everything's fine until Kid Flash comes home telling of a girl he may just be in love with. Not wanting his son to go through the same pain he went through, Beast Boy tells him everything in hopes that he'd prevent his son's inevitable heartbreak.
I didn't expect it to be as long as it is, and I was going to end it after the hug, but decided to show Raven's death and the aftermath. The song cut is kinda awful there so I apologize for that but as soon as the first beat is over with it's fine.
