Terrifying Night Searching for Dave in Brighton
What started as a search for one person turned into a shocking look at the reality many people face every day on the streets of Brighton. Throughout the night I spoke to local residents, businesses, and people who knew Dave, each sharing a different piece of his story. The deeper I looked, the more I saw the impact that addiction, homelessness, and antisocial behaviour can have on individuals and communities alike.
Eventually, I discovered that Dave had been arrested. While everyone’s situation is different and the full circumstances may not be known, it was a reminder of how quickly lives can spiral when people don’t receive the support they need.
This video isn’t about judging anyone—it’s about documenting what I witnessed, hearing people’s stories, and raising awareness of the challenges affecting our towns and cities across the UK. Behind every headline is a human being with a past, a struggle, and a future that could still change.
