Also known as the Queen Bee and Ocram themes from Terraria, the latter of which is a boss exclusive to the console/mobile version, where the song also plays for the Eye of Cthulhu. This cover was made between 12-21 September 2016. On the PC version, it's played by the Boss 5 music box

Similar in tempo to Boss 2, and not much more difficult to figure out how to arrange everything. It was kind of interesting working the jungle-like percussion into the mix.
Even now I'm not 100% sold on the buzzy synth sound, but otherwise I think this is my personal favourite of my covers so far.
Since Boss 4 is a very short track (about 85 seconds) that loops once to extend it to about 3 minutes, I tried to stick to the structure and all the little details of the original in the first loop (while still doing them in my own way), and then kind of started doing my own thing afterward, such as that change to 6/8 near the end.
The to-do list for Terraria covers got a little longer this month with the 1.3.3 update; I'm already starting on the Sandstorm theme, and aiming for a very early October release. In the meantime, hope you enjoy this one! Thanks for listening!
