The TerraMaster F4-425 Pro promises faster hardware, more memory, TOS 7, and new AI-powered features like OpenClaw. But after several weeks of real-world testing, I found a very different story. In this review, I cover setup, TRAID storage pools, NVMe SSD storage and caching, 5GbE networking, performance testing, OpenClaw AI, and the new TOS 7 operating system. The hardware is solid, but persistent software issues, beta stability problems, network failures, storage resyncs, and unfinished AI features raise an important question: should a NAS launch before its software is truly ready?
