Peace is the second movement in the four-part suite. It is intimacy, honesty, and emotional stillness. Recorded primarily on a Steinway grand piano in a living room setting, the project is raw and unfiltered, allowing emotion to move directly from the artist to the instrument without interruption. Peace explores the misunderstood power of quiet and restraint, the moments we sit alone and confront ourselves without noise.
The music is instinctual and imperfect by design. Minimal editing, no production tricks, and a willingness to live in uncertainty. Sketches unfold in real time, embracing space, silence, and improvisation. The project culminates in subtle ensemble moments, but always returns to acoustic simplicity. Peace reflects Los Angeles before excess, before machinery, before distraction. A return to essence, where everyone is aligned on the same mission.
