Only intended to play a part of the start of this LD set to see how it began as I was done with LD digitising for the day and when that Guild Home Video logo sprang to life...yeah, I had to spend another 5 minutes getting this captured. x)

This is opening the mythic UK Special Edition set of "Terminator 2: Judgment Day", at one point the only way you could watch the film uncut in the country (it's rated 18 rather than 15!), let alone the best quality way to own the film. It's prized enough that it's No. 1 in popularity ranks for PAL Laserdiscs on the Laserdisc Database website, even. Naturally, I'm stoked to delve deeper into this when I can but in the meantime, here's the intro. If nothing else, this is likely the best quality upload of the late-80's/early-90's Guild Home Video logo out there so you're welcome to the freaks who care? You're welcome, heh.

Trying something new with uploading as well. Captured the same way I captured previous Laserdisc-related videos on here but I converted this from MKV to MP4 on my iPad before using the Photos app's own splice tool to edit the off-cuts out. How's this look? Seems to be similar enough quality to the initial digitisation to get by, but I'll redo the upload later if its not quite good enough, you know me.
