It's been nearly 5 years since filmmaker Terence Nance (The Oversimplification of her Beauty) appeared on Reelblack TV. In that period of time, he produced and directed two seasons of Random Acts of Flyness for HBO, was hired (but ultimately left) to write and direct Space Jam 2 for Warner Brothers and released his first full-length album of music. Called V O R T E X, he will perform it live for the very first time on May 25 &26 at Uninon Transfer in the Spring Garden section of Philadelphia in conjunction with SWARM, his gallery installation that runs through July 9 at the Institute for Contemporary Art.
