In this Skyward Sword HD boss battle, Link faces Tentalus, the giant sea monster boss at the end of the Sandship dungeon in the Lanayru Sand Sea. This video shows the full Tentalus boss fight, including how to cut the tentacles with Skyward Strikes, how to avoid the ship attacks, how to shoot Tentalus in the eye with the Bow, and how to damage the weak point when the boss falls onto the deck.
If you are stuck on the Sandship boss in Zelda: Skyward Sword HD, the main strategy is to keep moving while charging Skyward Strikes, then slash the tentacles as they burst through the ship. Once enough tentacles are cut, Tentalus will reveal itself. When the boss opens up for an attack, aim the Bow at the large eye to stun Tentalus, then run in and attack the eye with your sword.
Later in the fight, Tentalus destroys part of the ship and forces Link onto the upper deck. Keep cutting through the snake-like tentacles, wait for a clear opening, then shoot the eye again with the Bow. Repeat the pattern until Tentalus is defeated.
