Ten relaunched its news product in April 1991 with a complete overhaul. Sets were revamped across the country, newscasts re-extended to an hour and star anchors joined - or re-joined - the network. Katrina Lee, a longtime Ten Sydney face, returned to the news desk alongside Nine recruit John Mangos.
