The TEMPOMATIC 4 is an electronic basin mixer with a 4 in 1 concept: hygiene, water savings, quick installation and simple maintenance.
Why do we discuss hygiene in public places?
Because 80% of bacteria is transmitted by hands.
The best way to avoid this transmission is to use taps or mixers that don’t require manual contact.
The TEMPOMATIC 4 flows automatically when hands are placed in front of the sensor and stops when they are removed.
Therefore, no manual contact with the mixer is required to operate it.
To ensure that hygiene is perfect and complete there is also a reduced stagnation solenoid valve inside the control, which empties and renews the water with each use, and therefore each hand wash.
To prevent the stagnation of water in the network – which is responsible for bacterial development –a flush is carried out every 24 hours after the last use in order to circulate water in the system.
Today we wash our hands much more, which is a good thing but has an impact on consumption. In public buildings overuse is an issue.
The TEMPOMATIC 4 has the advantage of stopping automatically when hands are removed from the field of detection so, water doesn’t flow whilst hands are being soaped.
With this automatic stop and the flow rate reduced to 3 lpm we manage to achieve 90% water savings when compared to a domestic tap or mixer.
In terms of installation it’s very simple, the TEMPOMATIC 4 is 100% interchangeable with domestic taps or mixers: the installed control is removed and the TEMPOMATIC 4 tap is installed in its place.
Without the need for any work, nor fitting an electric cable or even any setting of the tap or mixer.
It can function independently for up to 6 years.
The design is specifically intended for intensive use in public places.
Maintenance is, therefore, infrequent and simplified as all components are integrated in the mixer body and can be accessed from the front without any need for removal.
