TELLTALE GAMES FUTURE MAJOR UPDATE
It's been nearly 7 years since Telltale Games was revived by LCG Entertainment. It has been a rocky road to say the least, but it finally appears they are back in order and ready for a potential return to glory. With the reannouncement of The Wolf Among Us 2 and The Wolf Among Us Remastered announced Telltale Games is back in business. In today's video, I update you on Telltale Games future which got an official update from CEO Jamie Ottilie, and what this hints at for the next batch of Telltale games coming after The Wolf Among Us 2 releases! Could we see "Batman Season 3" with a return of the old Telltale Batman cast? Could we see a new universe from them like AdHoc did with Dispatch? Could we see a new playable character in a new Telltale game from a famous IP? Or even the long-awaited return of The Walking Dead Game. Telltale Games is about an independent developer and publisher of both original and licensed IP games, recognized globally for incredible narrative experiences – and a pioneer of episodic gaming. It’s a tale of rebuilding a groundbreaking studio. To do it, we’ll continue pushing the boundaries of interactive storytelling. Telltale’s games and stories — they move people. Telltale’s legacy includes several award-winning and best-selling franchises including Batman: The Telltale Series, The Wolf Among Us, The Walking Dead, and more. Over 80 Game of the Year Awards. As of 2019, the Telltale brand, assets, and various IP are now owned by LCG Entertainment, operating, and marketing games under the Telltale name. We aren’t just a game studio of industry veterans; we are also fans of Telltale’s narrative legacy and we want to see it grow bigger – and better – than ever.
