Quick note about the story I tell about the interaction I had in the comic book store: I remembered after editing this that I have absolutely seen trans folks on Staten Island before because I went to high school with a couple, totally slipped my mind because it's been like 15 years. So amend my statement in the video to "the first trans person I had seen on Staten Island in 15 years".
