On June 3rd, a spectacular planetary alignment will be viewable from Earth's sky. Planetary parade is the alignment of 3 to 8 planets on the same side of the sun, on the sky from Earth. We see them lined up more or less in a straight line across the sky. There can be situations where all of the planets in the solar system are lined up on one side of the sun.
Not all of the planets are visible without a telescope, but many of them are. In this particular planetary parade, it's likely that we'll be able to see Mercury, Jupiter, Mars and Saturn but you would need a telescope to see Uranus and Neptune.

Almost a year ago, wildfires devastated the city of Lahaina, Maui in one of the deadliest fires in modern U.S. history, killing over 100 people. The fires burned over 2170 acres and damaged or destroyed an estimated 2,200 buildings, creating a toxic environment likely to affect water quality and Mauis fragile coral reef ecosystem. Armed with NSF RAPID Response Research grants for quick-response disaster research, two NSF-supported teams from the University of Hawaii at Mānoa were on the ground immediately following the fires. One team tested the drinking water while the other deployed auto sampler sensors off the West coast of Maui to monitor the health of the coral reefs.")
