Astronomy Live | Telescope Footage of ISS with Boeing Starliner Still Docked! @Astronomy_Live | Uploaded June 2024 | Updated October 2024, 30 minutes ago.
Starliner's original mission schedule would have had it undocking before I had any good opportunities to view it, but due to the delays I was able to get this amazing footage on 6-19-24. If you look closely, you can see the difference in the color of the bright white SpaceX Dragon and the darker gray Boeing Starliner. Filmed using an 11" Celestron NexStar telescope and Blackmagic Pocket Cinema 4K camera with a 2.5x Luminos Barlow. Tracking performed automatically using SatTraker and then stabilized in post with custom Python software. All channel members get free access to compiled executables of my astronomy software, including SatTraker!
