In 2019, after being diagnosed with ALS, Brian Wallach launched I AM ALS, a patient-centric, patient-led nonprofit dedicated to rewriting the ALS story, which has grown to a community of over 50,000.
Brook Croke, MS, MPH, is a genetic counselor at Synapticure where she provides genetic counseling to individuals across the United States with ALS. She earned her Master of Science degree in Genetic Counseling at Northwestern University in 2011 and resides in Springfield, IL.
Dr. Danielle Geraldi-Samara is a neurologist who has diagnosed and treated ALS patients since her fellowship at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in 2007. She helped to develop an ALS/Neuromuscular clinic at NYU (Brooklyn campus) starting in 2014. She has also had the privilege of serving as a supervising Neuromuscular specialist at the multidisciplinary ALS clinic of Northwell Health in New York.
Dr. Eric Anderson is an innovative physician-scientist that has been recognized as a national leader in telemedicine and mobile health. He trailblazed the use of mobile telemedicine in emergency neurology and was the first to demonstrate and publish that remote stroke assessment could be performed with an iPhone. His academic work has been published in high impact medical journals and authoritative texts in neuroelectrophysiology, neuroviriology, neuropathology, proteomics, telemedicine, and mobile health.
