Its been eons since Ive screwed around with the Storm games. Literally 8 years (and I completely skipped Connections). But Im back poking at this game thanks to this ambitious community super mod that looks to stack Storm 4 with all the content that was both missing from past games (including even the PS2 original Ultimate Ninja games) or later added with Connections (...which funny enough makes purchasing Connections completely freaking pointless now LOL). This goes beyond just costumes and characters, too: the game even aims to bring back Ultimate Jutsus from older games recreated from scratch for the Storm engine along with QoLs and balance updates. Not gonna lie: I downloaded this the INSTANT I saw PreTS Neji get his Zesshou Hachimon Hougeki [Last Resort: Eight Gates Assault] back from UN2... from over 20 YEARS ago. That was actually my favorite super from the classic games.
Ive recorded a few test matches with me vs. the AI (took a bit to remember how to play this game...) and this is the first one. AI is on the highest setting (Super Hard). The others will come peppered through the day.")
