Unit bios:
Ashigaru are militia troops drawn from Tekarns agricultural conscripts. Though not as well equipped or experienced as their Warrior superiors, they are however well trained and motivated combat troops. Often, they are as formidable as even the standard Guardsman found across the hated Imperium. They are led by Banner Bearers, themselves former Ashigaru who were promoted to the ranks of the Warrior Samurai and now strive to lead them to such glory.
Sudden Chimeras are a result of Tekarns first war with the Tau Empire, where grav technology was seized from the wretched xenos and equipped to many of their vehicles. To compensate for weight however, the weaponry of the Chimera was removed and replaced with smoke launchers. Their extreme mobility and maverick piloting skill more than make up for this lack of armament.
Tsunami Gravtanks are the newest armored armored innovation of Tekarn, born of their wars with the Tau. Built to counter the Hammerhead gunships of the xenos, who proved more than a match for the Leman Russ Battle Tank, the Tsunami combines with the Tau's grav technology with human ingenuity to conquer all in its path.
