But if it happens before we're ready, we may find ourselves pointing in the wrong direction, towards Satan."

Teilhard de Chardin is a suspect in the Piltdown Man hoax, something which had supported Darwinism. A belief, or faith in Darwinian evolution is a prerequisite for being shephered into the next stage of "evolution" - transhumanism, or post-humanism.
