Shrunken, desolate, and starved
Behind bars crude and sturdy
The pride of Shroom Village blacksmith
Lie those who did petulantly offend,
The order of the wood,
The sweetness of the dew,
The serenade of the songbird

Broken on
rack by drunken dungeon master
Red eyes barely peeking beneath his hat
Stroking a beard like bellowing smoke,
As he tightens, twists, and torments
Even if you repent, he will not relent
You are blind to everything but pain
But they see everything in this
realm
For they are the essence of the wood
