Relive the legendary, high-octane soundtrack and iconic voice samples of Konami's classic 1989 4-player arcade beat 'em up Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!
Based on the beloved 1987 animated TV series, TMNT brought the turtles—Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo, and Raphael—to life in arcades around the world. Players fought their way through New York City streets, burning buildings, sewers, and Technodrome to rescue April O'Neil and Master Splinter from Shredder and the Foot Clan.
The energetic, beat-heavy soundtrack was composed by Mutsuhiko Izumi and Miki Higashino. Featuring a chip-tune rendition of the iconic animated TV show theme along with driving battle tracks, the audio was powered by Konami's custom hardware utilizing the Yamaha YM2151 FM chip and UPD7759 sampler for iconic speech effects ("Cowabunga!", "Press start to join in!").
