Making Ted a believable character means having him interact with his costars. As they leave the party, Ted keeps pace with Blair on the steps, even though she has a longer stride. The Animation team carefully adjusted Ted's gait to help him keep up with his costar, and navigate the steps in a way that made sense for his size.
