Bio | Suborno Isaac Bari

Suborno Isaac Bari, born on April 9, 2012, in New York, is the youngest student in the nearly 200-year history of New York University, where he is studying on a full scholarship. He is expected to graduate in Spring 2027 with bachelor’s degrees in Mathematics and Physics and plans to begin his first Ph.D. in Physics in Fall 2027. He is currently conducting research on quantum scars at Harvard University under Professor Eric Heller at the Mallinckrodt Chemical Laboratory.

In 2019, Suborno received the Global Child Prodigy Award from Nobel Peace Prize laureate Kailash Satyarthi. Since then, he has delivered lectures at numerous universities across India, including several Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). He is the youngest qualifier in the history of the American Invitational Mathematics Examination (AIME), part of the U.S. Mathematical Olympiad pathway, and the world’s youngest student to earn a perfect score on the AP Calculus BC exam.
