Fully improvised techno on hardware synthesizers.
For this techno live jam, I'm again trying to find a good balance between tonal and atonal patterns. With the syncussion and Fors Dyad, I've added a whole palette of sounds to my setup, but now I need to find a way to make them sound good with my more melodic lead lines. So, let's see how it goes.
I start with a blank sequencer and build a set from scratch. This holds the potential for unexpected twists and turns, and can also open up new creative possibilities for making techno. It's all about exploring new ground, unpredictability, and freshness.

Oxi One (Sequencer - DIN MIDI to all synths)
Launchpad Pro MK3 (mute/unmute, mixing, filter)
Faderfox EC4 (for FX tweaking in Ableton)
Korg Wavestate

Behringer Syncussion
Arturia Drumbrute Impact
Digitech Jamman Stereo Looper
Ableton for mixing, stock FX, Fors Dyad and routing the audio to OBS.
