Technifex Flashback (2004) - Anatomy of a Snake Bite

Technifex created Robo-Rat a meat covered RC rat to see what effect the venom hemotoxins have on tissue. Technifex also built a 25 foot snake to simulate the squeezing pressure of a Python.

Technifex has created mechanical effects for numerous, highly successful Discovery Channel Programs. The “Bite” series of shows were produced at our facility in Valencia, California. All mechanical systems were designed, engineered and manufactured by Technifex and the final principal shoots were done on our in-house sound stage and in our shop.
