**The final battle between Team 7 and Kaguya Otsutsuki is one of the most controversial fights in Naruto, but there is a brilliant detail hidden inside this battle that completely changes how it can be viewed.
Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, and Kakashi defeating Kaguya brings the story of Team 7 full circle because their final battle mirrors the Bell Test Kakashi gave them at the beginning of Naruto.
During the original Bell Test, Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura repeatedly tried fighting Kakashi individually. Despite their talent, none of them understood that Kakashi was actually testing their ability to work together. Years later, Team 7 finds itself facing an opponent so powerful that none of them could possibly defeat her alone.
This time, however, they finally understand the lesson. Naruto and Sasuke possess the Sun and Moon seals necessary to seal Kaguya, but defeating her requires far more than their power. Sakura, Kakashi, and even Obito become essential pieces of the battle as Naruto and Sasuke are forced to rely on the people around them.
The final sequence makes this connection even stronger. Kakashi creates the opening, Naruto and Sasuke close in with the Six Paths Chibaku Tensei, and Sakura prevents Kaguya from escaping. Naruto and Team 7 finally capture the symbolic bell.
