Did you know that Freedom Conservation's founder, Jacques-Olivier Travers, uses extreme sports to teach Eagles born in captivity the art of flight? An important aspect of life outside of a cage, for any bird including the White-tailed Eagle, is the ability to fly. In this video, you can see Jacques-Olivier familiarise Freedom's Victor the Eagle with a capacity for Alpine pursuits, a way familiar to his non-captive counterparts. By skiing and paragliding with Victor, he lets him experience the sensation of the air over his wings in anticipation of his first venture into flight.
