Preorder at ZaraBook.com now!
I just finished writing my first children's book, Zara's Big Messy Day (That Turned Out Okay), and the preorder campaign is on Kickstarter here: ZaraBook.com
I only have 40 days to make my 20-year-old dream a reality, and I'm hoping that I can count on you to be a part of it.
ABOUT THE BOOK
Meet Zara, a clever, responsible, and sometimes anxious seven-year-old girl who lives with her mother, Mama, and four-year-old little brother, Sam.
Like a lot of kids her age, Zara struggles with managing her emotions in sticky situations. In Zara’s Big Messy Day (That Turned Out Okay), a picture book for readers age 4-8, children will join her for an ordinary day where she faces three obstacles.
Guided by Zara’s mother, both Zara and the reader will learn a simple breathing technique—a short visualization meditation—that will help them to find peace and calm in any moment.
WHY I NEED YOUR SUPPORT
Like the saying goes, "It takes a village to raise a child." It also takes a village to make big dreams come true. That's why I'm asking you to help me bring this big dream of mine to life.
Zara's Big Messy Day is a 100% indie project. From editing and illustrations to printing and distribution—I'm funding this big awesome project all by myself! Your preorder will help fund the rest of the project costs and ensure that the book is delivered on time.
Enjoy this video I made all about the book featuring some very special guests. You'll also get all the details about the thank you gifts I have waiting for you if you decide to join the village 🤗
Order now: ZaraBook.com
Special thanks to Takisha August, Cat Bowen, Jessica Ortner, Yulady & Gerald Saluti, Christine DiPilla, Nic Strack, Darcie Mejias, Michelle & Eric Garside, and Kiran Walker for lending your little ones as advance readers 🥰
And a very special thank you to my illustrator Danielle Pioli (daniellepioli.com), content consultant Nic Strack (nicstrack.com), and editor Esther Goldenberg (esthergoldenberg.com).
