The Lauren Audio Panther is the latest addition to the home studio and one of the biggest upgrades I've made in a long time, I did my best to match levels and show the difference in tone and depth that the Panther preamp creates against the hi-Z inputs from my Apollo x8 and I think the difference is pretty massive. Better top end, more detailed mids and just a presence that feels energetic and pretty.

I've been loving the shift and the results inspire me to work harder to find great source material.

Signal Path 2024-12-29 | Analog delay covers an incredible spectrum of sounds ranging from the conventional to the broken and esoteric, but today I wanted to talk about 3 of my absolutely favorite analog delay pedals, all of which come with their own distinct character and varying levels of complexity.

For the straightforward and simple to implement, we have the Delay Llama Mk.3 from JAM Pedals, for the Deluxe Memory Man emulation and modulation we have the Chase Bliss Tonal Recall RKM, and for the pedalboard maximalist, we have the Walrus Audio Meraki.
