In my opinion it isn't worth the grind specifically. If you grind to late game, get level 100+, and have enough for it, by all means, get it, but you don't need it to win anywhere just yet. Once Nightmare releases, it will likely serve a good purpose there, but for now it's just overkill on any of the current modes, and lesser towers like Railgunner and Artillery get the job done.
