Don't have access to Laser Gunner, Juggernaut, Railgunner, or even Sniper at Level 15? This strategy works for any level, as long as you bought the right towers. It's a cheap loadout with easily obtained towers, and they have no trouble handling this event at all. Barracks is a powerhouse, once again.
