Lee Siba Mothibe, the activist, the beauty queen, and the inspiration to so many LGBT people in Daveyton township, passed away in 2020 due to health complications.

Iranti and our allies worked to raise funds for her healthcare needs, but Lee Siba left this world, and left an indelible mark on all of our lives.

We mourn her, this Trans Day of Remembrance, but we also celebrate her. She left this world better than she found it, and had a good story to tell.
