South African Steinway Artist Charl du Plessis joins the Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra in a powerful interpretation of Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto No. 1. Presented in the 150th anniversary year of the piece, this excerpt pays tribute to one of the most dramatic and iconic works of the Romantic era. With sweeping melodies and bold technical flourishes, Charl’s rendition brings expressive flair and classical precision to the stage. Conducted by Brandon Phillips at Vergelegen Wine Estate in 2025.
